Little Munchkins Montessori, rated Good by Ofsted (March 2018) offers a warm and happy environment in which children can develop emotionally, socially and intellectually. Based in Cedus House, a purpose-built building, we have spacious rooms with plenty of resources, in which children from 3 months to 5 years can grow and play under the guidance of our qualified nursery practitioners. We believe it is important to allow children the freedom to be curious within their environment, so as to aid their spontaneous and natural development. We encourage the children to be themselves, to respect others and all that is around them. By stimulating their curiosity and helping them to discover the answers to their own questions children are motivated to learn. A key person is assigned to each child and family, becoming an integral part in ensuring positive parent partnerships and building consistency between home and nursery life.

We would like you to have some SEN experience and do a minimum of 10 Hours a week Monday -Friday 12pm-2pm

**As 1.1 SEND Support Worker you will**:
Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.

Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.

Ensure the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the nursery, and promote these daily in every routine.

Undertake any other duties to ensure the smooth running of the day, and the safety and wellbeing of children, staff and families.

Maintain strictly professional relationships and report any complaints or concerns to management in accordance with company policy and procedures.

**Requirements and skills**:
Full and relevant Level 3 childcare qualification - desirable.

SEN Experience - desirable.

Fluent in written and spoken English - essential.

Experience working with SEN children - essential.

Over 1 year’s experience of working in Early Years - desirable.

Knowledge of the Statutory framework for the EYFS and regulatory requirements - desirable.
