We are looking to hire an enthusiastic team member to take on the role of Dray Person/Delivery Driver at award winning Great Newsome Brewery near Hull. The successful applicant will be required to drive a brewery van (Ford Transit or similar) delivering cask and bottle beer 4 days out of 5 each week to customers on set delivery routes throughout Yorkshire and Lincolnshire. Applicants must be polite and courteous to customers, be able to carry out the physical nature of moving heavy casks and be able to work alone. Applicants will also be required to arrange their delivery run efficiently and be trust worthy as they will be required at times to handle cash. Applicants must have a full clean driving license. (Proof will be required). On the 5th working day the role involves working in the brewery which will involve cask washing, cleaning or arranging the next days delivery. All training will be provided.

The working week is Monday - Friday and their will also be the opportunity to work additional hours at brewery events. Hours 7:30 - 16:00.

**Duties**:
Delivering beer to customers in brewery van

Daily vehicle checks

Planning delivery route

Stock picking for brewery delivery vehicles

Operating cask/keg washer

General brewery cleaning duties

**Requirements**:
Able to maintain high standards

Willing to learn new skills

Clean UK driving license and own transport

Able to work in a small team

Able to carry out the physical nature of moving cask beer.

Trustworthy

Eligible to work in the UK

**Desirable**:
Forklift qualifications

Knowledge of beer and brewing

Previous brewery experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £24,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
