We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic and motivated surveyor to join the kitchen & rewire team within planned programmes.

If successful, you will be at the forefront for this important work, helping deliver homes our tenants can be proud of.

You will be working within a team that manages delivery of kitchen refurbishments and rewires in our domestic properties across Bristol duties would include:

- Assessing property condition and recording scope of works in a uniform format to provide concise and relevant information to contractors(s) and any other departments within the organisation which may benefit from the information.
- Liaising with various departments within the organisation to ensure joined-up approach to planned and reactive works with the shared view of efficient and effective works to programming with mínimalised disruption to stakeholders. (tenants)
- Monitoring of contractor performance against a specified set of Key Performance criteria, e.g. timeliness, quality and budgetary.
- Ensuring contractor Health & Safety compliance where necessary (e.g. RIDDOR, etc)
- Reporting of contractor performance and highlighting common issues in a uniform format at regular intervals (monthly) to superior(s) and working on mitigating measures to reduce or prevent future occurrences.
- Attending site handovers inspections in person or remotely to ensure the complete satisfaction of the organisation and stakeholders of works completed.
- Authorising and agreeing invoices once works have signed off as complete.
- Acting as Client representative and upholding the council Code of Conduct at all times.
