You do not need to have any previous experience in this field, nor do you need qualifications - we’re happy to work with you to help you become an excellent care assistant for our service users.

**About our service:
The Chestnuts is a residential care home in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and is home to 64 people. We provide a range of care and support service for our residents, some of whom have dementia.

The Chestnuts provides a friendly, supportive, and welcoming home from home environment with regular and varied activities. As well as Outings and events that are also organised.

**Our Bank Care Assistant duties:
- You will assist service users in participating in activities both within the Home and outside as well as escorting them to appointments in the community
- To fulfil a range of personal care tasks and other care work for both male and female service users with various physical and emotional needs
- You will assist with simple food preparation on the suites and serve all meals to the service users
- To work flexibly over a 24/7, 365 days a year basis, according to the demands of the service
- You will be required to assist housekeeping staff with keeping communal areas clean and odour free
