**Teaching Assistant Job Advert**:
**Position**: Teaching Assistant - Reception Class (One-to-One Support)
**Location**: Bispham, Blackpool

**Job Type**: Full-time, Long-term Position
**Start Date**: Immediate
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, 8:45 am - 3:30 pm
**Salary**: Competitive rates starting from £11.68 per hour

**Responsibilities**:As a dedicated Teaching Assistant in our Reception class, you will play a crucial role in providing one-to-one support to a delightful child who is transitioning from nursery to reception. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Individualised Support**: Offer personalised assistance to the child, helping them navigate the challenges of transitioning to the reception class.
- **Behavioural Support**: Address and manage the child's frustration and behavioural concerns, fostering a positive learning environment.
- **Assist with Transition Activities**: Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and implement activities that ease the child's transition and enhance their learning experience.
- **Safety and Well-being**: Ensure the safety and well-being of the child during classroom activities and transitions.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum grade 4 (C) in Maths or English
- Relevant qualification within childcare
- Minimum 12 weeks' experience within the last 5 years
- 1 reference from working in an educational setting
