Trainee Flooring Installer

**Job Title: Flooring Installer Trainee**

**Location: Nationwide**

**Rate of Pay: £10.50 p/h**

We are offering an opportunity to work within a rapidly growing commercial flooring contractor based in Colchester, Essex. We have tier 1 and 2 contractors that we work with nationwide, supplying and installing high quality flooring finishes.

Providing you are hard working and eager to learn the trade, we will offer training with many of our experienced flooring fitters, provide training courses including CSCS which is required to work on site. This could also open doors to future opportunities like site supervision (SSSTS), site management (SMSTS) and even contract management.

**Due to us working nationwide a full UK Drivers Licence will be required.**

The training will include the following:
Preparation
- Grinding
- Scabbling
- DPM
- Priming
- Latexing

Installing
- Carpet/carpet tiles
- Sheet vinyl
- LVT
- Capping and cove former
- Marmoleum
- Timber
- Floor paint

Training courses we can provide:

- Fire Safety Awareness
- Hazardous Substances
- Noise Awareness
- Asbestos Awareness
- Risk Assessment
- Manual Handling
- First Aid Awareness
- Infection Prevention and Control

**Salary**: £10.50 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)
- CSCS (preferred)
