Cabin Fitter - Accommodation & Mobile Welfare Units

Due to the ongoing company growth Thomas Cabins Ltd has an exciting opportunity for a Cabin Fitter at our Depot in Sandford.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family owned & run company that has successfully grown nationwide and continues to grow rapidly.

In this role you’ll be joining our accommodation specialist team who specialise in the rental of temporary building systems to suit diverse requirements - including anti-vandal ‘green specification’ accommodation, sleeper units, portable toilets, containers and everything else our customers need for construction sites and events. On a day to day basis as a Cabin Fitter you will maintain, repair and prepare for hire all types of portable accommodation units within our range. Working as part of a well skilled team under an experienced foreman, you will be tasked with preparing units to high standard for our wide range of clients. Working alongside colleagues, you will be a great team player and take pride in your workplace and working environment, making sure that high standards are maintained whilst complying with company procedures and processes.

Job Role
- Manual preparation for painting
- General maintenance skills (Electrics, Joinery, Plumbing)
- External / Internal lock fitting
- Completing door fittings
- Fitting of partitions
- Replace plywood flooring
- Repair and replace wall/ceiling boards
- The removal of internal fittings prior to works
- Assembly and cleaning of products (furniture)
- To work closely with and assist colleagues
- Cleaning of units and fittings internally and externally
- Continuously checking and working to high quality standards in line with customer expectations
