**KWS UK Ltd.** is looking to recruit at the earliest opportunity a **Seed Production Worker**. This is a **full-time**, **permanent position** based in **Thriplow** near Cambridge.

The overall aim of the role is to **coordinate and assist with supervision of the operations of production** in the plant **including seed cleaning, treatment and packing**. You are responsible for coordinating activities in relation with **maintenance of all seed processing and ancillary equipment**. The job holder has also a responsibility to assist the Production Operations Manager with maintaining accurate seed production and certification records during staff absences as well as managing engineering projects and seed plant Health and Safety.

This position requires **flexibility** as you will be required to work extended hours in peak periods throughout the main summer/autumn harvest period, this will include working into the evenings and Saturdays. You will also be required to fulfill duties outside your main areas of responsibility when necessary.

**What you can expect in this role**:

- To coordinate production operations from intake through point of dispatch. Including the supervision of seasonal workers.
- To assist the Production Operations Manager with their day to day duties.
- To assist with operating and maintaining seed processing equipment.
- To assist with effective and cost-efficient repair and maintenance of the processing equipment.
- To be compliant with the Company and legislative regulations.
- To be able to prioritize and schedule workload accordingly in order to minimize downtime.
- To carry out production administration duties as and when required.
- To assist the Production Operations Manager with responsibilities relating to the BASIS storekeeping and inspection
