**Company & Role Profile**

A global leader in what they do, with worldwide distribution channels. Their headquarters are in Broadstairs, on a 4.5-hectare site incorporating high-tech manufacturing and research and development facilities.

The HR Advisor will actively support the achievement of overall organisational goals by delivering robust HR processes and activities: ensuring accurate administration and documentation; generating continuous improvement of employee documentation throughfull employee lifecycle; delivering accurate HR data analysis and ensuring legally compliant first line HR support.

This is a 12-month fixed term contract covering maternity leave.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Deliver effective (first point of contact) HR guidance promptly with reference to appropriate policies, legislation and practices, taking account of commercial priorities
- Support recruitment and restructuring processes and campaigns
- Develop HR data and trend analysis
- Proactively administer pre-employment checks, absence data, holiday usage, probation periods, long service awards and exit processes, addressing issues appropriately
- Maintain and utilise HR Information System to manage and capture data, allow analysis and provide accurate extraction of information in timely fashion
- Ensure accuracy of HR and Payroll Data, completing appropriate calculations
- Generate and process employee documentation through full employee lifecycle
- Innovate and maintain strong record management practices in all areas, particularly employee files, job descriptions, training and health
- Maintain and continuously improve systems to ensure compliance with formal audited standards such as ISO, GDPR, HSE
- Provide support to continuous improvement of performance management system
- Continuous improvement of talent infrastructure including job descriptions, on boarding, development planning, exit management

**Skills, know-how and experience required**:

- Experience of providing effective HR guidance as first point of contact
- 3+ years generalist HR experience
- Current working knowledge of employment law
- Experience of successfully delivering end-to-end employee lifecycle activities supporting line managers
- Demonstrated ability to successfully balance response to ad hoc HR queries against the constraints of regular activities and support to long term projects
- HR system and data management experience
- CIPD Membership
