Shift pattern: Rotational shifts: Monday - Sunday, earlyshift, lateshift, nightshift, on call.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the INS Recovery team as a Healthcare Support Worker band 3 within Theatres & Recovery, Institute of Neurological Sciences. This is a Regional service which covers the West of Scotland. You must be able to demonstrate a commitment to patient-centred care, continuing professional development, an understanding of our service, and the specific needs of our patients (or a commitment to learn and develop these skills).You will demonstrate flexibility, and a willingness to participate in service progression and growth. The ability to work effectively in a team is essential.

The Theatre Suite consists of Neurosurgical and Oral Maxillo Facial Surgery specialties. These 2 specialties offer experience in difficult airway management and multi-specialty highly complex procedures. The department provides 24 hour cover and staff will be expected to participate in a fully flexible rota system, including weekends, rotation to night duty and on call.
