Parcel Delivery Driver
Location: Wigton
Contract: Temporary
Shifts: Hours between 6am and 7pm - Working 5 days out of 7.

**Hourly Rate: £13.37ph**

The Royal Mail is a much-loved brand, providing postal delivery services to 64 million people all around the UK. Due to an increase in demand, Pertemps are working in partnership with the Royal Mail to source professional Delivery Drivers to support with their busy operation. This is your opportunity to have a real impact, in the heart of your community

**About the Parcel Delivery Driver role**
You'll start your day in the local delivery office, sorting and gathering the mail needed for your route. You will collect your allocated vehicle and your hand-held computer device (detailing your route and tracking your mail) and then deliver the mail and parcels to your local community. Shift lengths vary between 4 - 8 hours per day.

**About You**
Royal Mail deliver parcels whatever the weather, so you will enjoy working outdoors and due to the amount of walking required you will need to be relatively fit and healthy.
You will be smartly presented, always acting in a professional and courteous manner.

**Previous Experience**
Some previous experience in a customer facing or delivery role would be ideal but not essential.
You will be required to complete a full DBS security check prior to commencing work.

**Driving licence requirements**
A full UK manual driving licence (in your current UK address)
Maximum 6 penalty points
