August Waiter

Position is 6 evenings / week with mornings and Sundays off.
- Time shifts 4pm - 10pm (approx).
- 36 hours / week
- Possibility to continue full time or part time after August.

We are a friendly and enthusiastic team in a Scottish restaurant & Whisky Bar located in Edinburgh’s Old Town. We are proud to be a very diverse team made up of over 10 nationalities that include undergraduate and postgraduate students and full time colleagues

Your main responsibilities and duties will be:

- Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area.
- Greet restaurant customers in a courteous manner.
- Take customer orders and deliver food and beverages.
- Make recommendations about the menu.
- Deliver checks and collect bill payments.
- Carry plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning.
- Maintain restaurant premises in a hygienic condition.

Who are we looking for:

- Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Being passionate about food and customer service.
- Have a good command of spoken English.
