Staff365 have an exciting new job opportunity with our market leading manufacturing client located in Sheffield. This role would suit someone who has an interest of working within either the manufacturing and engineering sectors and ideally someone who hasworked within a workshop or engineering shop floor environment. You will exposed to a number of different manufacturing processes and be given the opportunity to learn and develop new skills whilst be supported with the relevant training.

The Main duties of the role are;
- To support the production team within a busy metal working facility, adhering to health & safety safe working procedures.
- Prepare material ready for production and release to shop floor.
- Cut and size material as per works order requirements using hand grinders and or guillotines,
- Receive in suppliers' deliveries - unloading, booking in and putting away of the deliveries
- Bench work such as counter boring and drilling of small components.
- Maintain jigs/patterns and store in an organised and accessible way.
- Stocktake completion & reporting on stock levels as required
- Housekeeping on the shop floor and outside premises where required
- Recording tasks completed on the appropriate clocking system including any non-productive hours
- Any other duties, as may be appropriate, to achieve the objectives of the job and to assist in the fulfilment of the Company's objectives, commensurate with your salary grade, abilities and aptitudes.

Hours of work are:
Monday - Friday 08:00 - 16:00pm

£12-£14 phr paid weekly

This is a 12 week Temp - Perm position and a face to face interview will take place as part of the overall interview process.
