Cemetery Operative

**South Kirkby and Moorthorpe Town Council**

**We are looking to recruit a Joint Burial Committee Cemetery Operative**

**Purpose of the job**

To undertake all operations within the Cemeteries and to assist in the provision of an efficient burial service to the public through preparation and backfilling of graves, also in the maintenance of graves and cemeteries thereafter.

**Qualifications & Skills**

Do you like working outdoors? why not consider coming to work for the Joint Burial Committee serving the local community in managing and caring for local cemeteries being part of a small team.

Working knowledge of the Bereavement Services Industry would be preferred but not essential if you have a willingness to learn.

Good Communication skills working within a small team offering a service to bereaved families.

Full, clean driving licence (Category B + E) required

Salary

The appointed person will be allocated grade within this bandwidth £21,968 - £22,777
