**The Role**
A role of tremendous scope and opportunity, reporting to the Managing Director UK and leading a dedicated finance team, your responsibilities will include:
- The production, consolidation and delivery of financial information at site and Group level
- Contributing to monthly closing and reporting activities
- Supporting the implementation of the Group ERP system - SAP
- Contributing to local and Group forecasting and budgeting process
- Monitoring and controlling stock and inventory levels
- Evaluating opex and capex initiatives, delivering analysis and recommendations against budget
- Partnering operations to develop bespoke reports, dashboards and kpi's to enable a better understanding of operational requirements
The business is going through an exciting period of change and growth and is seeking to appoint a hand's on, finance professional with a strong manufacturing background, to get "under the skin" of the business, to improve systems, processes, costings, operationalefficiencies and to drive financial performance.
**The Person**
This is a high-profile, senior executive role, combining the need for a practical, hands-on finance professional, prepared to tackle fundamental operational issues, with the experience and credibility to support the board in their pursuit of greater marketshare and profitability.
"Hands on" and computer literate, you will have gained your finance experience working within a fast moving, manufacturing environment where you will have demonstrated an ability to anticipate and meet the changing needs of a growing business, working closelywith the senior team to provide insight and clarity, influencing at all levels, from the shop floor to the boardroom.
Experience of an ERP system implementation, ideally SAP is desirable.
