**The Team**: You will join a very collegial and professional global team, where you will be able to collaborate and to exchange domain knowledge and expertise in the field of Human Resources in order to provide the highest level of employee support.
**The Impact**: Your position is critical to support the People Services Lead in various People-related activities such as New Hire On-boarding, Benefits Administration, Off-boarding, and other HR requests and processes. With superior customer service and time management skill, you will act as an ambassador for the S&P Global by understanding the importance of organizational culture, values and goals.

You would have the opportunity to work with different People teams and with different department, such as finance, payroll and operations.
The Regional Specialist role responds to employee queries as submitted People Service Center Portal. In addition to handling process escalations, you will administer potential HR Operations processes, promote the effective utilization of HR self-service technologies, and resolve out-of-scope queries with internal stakeholders. As part of the Global People Services team, you will provide general operational support on all site processes under People Services.
**Responsibilities**:
Manage Employee Life Cycle from onboarding to offboarding
Should be able to manage Effective resolution of employee escalations for designated region within agreed SLA (Service Level Agreement)
Transacting in HRIS & CoE Systems to resolve escalations within agreed SLA’s
Escalating unresolved issues to Tier 2/3 stakeholders (HRIS &/or CoE teams)
Support HR operational activities spanning employee lifecycle ie benefits administration, HR records management, Time and Absence Support
Day-to-day relationship and vendor management of third-party suppliers, labor consultants, evaluating performance against agreed SLA’s & escalating deviations to Line Manager
Maintaining regional standards and standardization in alignment with Global People processes
Focusing on process improvement using LEAN and executing change projects
Supporting Line Manager and/or People team with additional activities and projects as warranted by business needs in line with global People strategy
Strong understanding of EMEA Policies and Processes, in terms of Time Off, Benefits and other ad-hoc queries
Be the local HR contact providing exceptional customer service to internal clients on all kinds of policy consultation, including but not limited to parental leave, foreign employees, transfers.
Providing a centralized human resource services such as benefits and other transactions for UK and EMEA ensuring efficiency of service center operations, technology, and transaction processes.
Coordinating services with human resource information systems, human resource program managers and technology specialists
Oversee and facilitating with onboarding and offboarding, contract renewal, probations, sabbaticals, local requirements such as country specific parental leave processes
Build deep understanding of end-to-end processes and provide ongoing and back up support for both global and local stakeholders and teammates as and when necessary
Partner with the wider People Team and in some cases managers to understand resolve local issues.
Higher understanding of HR Policies and programs across EMEA region and identify process improvement opportunities
Maintain a knowledge base and build rapport and portfolio with People Partners, COE’s and Office managers across EMEA
**Skills and Knowledge**:
3-5 years’ relevant experience in Human Resources
**Analytical and reporting capabilities (Microsoft Office Suite**: Excel and Powerpoint)
Experience navigating HR Data systems (Workday, SAP, Service Now)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail
Time management and organizational skills
Experience to manage People Service Center as Tier is an added advantage
**Reporting lines and Relationships**:
Reports to Manager, People Services
Manages a resource
Builds and maintains strong relationships with the Business, People teams & Vendors, occasionally receiving direction from the HRIS or CoE System leads
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Excellent Excel/Word/PowerPoint skills.
Outstanding analytical skills and a proven track record developing and using metrics.
Experience with HR and / or operations preferred.
Demonstrable analytical mindset
Problem solver
Any HR system experience preferably handling Workday.
