**Employment Project Summary**

We are providing supported employment opportunities for people with Learning Disabilities. People with Learning Disabilities are underrepresented in the workforce, and we aim to change this. We are a small team of 2 Job Coach's and Employment Ambassadors. The project will be for 8 months; however, we aim to continue beyond this period if we are successful with further support.

**The Job-Coach role**:
The overall aim of the Job Coach is to support people with learning disabilities to work towards their goals and ultimately to secure paid work. The Job Coach will be expected to support people with learning disabilities into work using the 5-stage model of supported employment.

1. To build relationships with participants and through support and advice help them address any barriers to employment.

2. To have a creative approach to engaging with participants.

3. To be responsible for a caseload of participants, providing a support role and addressing their needs based upon their individual action plans.

4. To work with participants on a one to one or group basis as appropriate.

5. To maintain regular contact with participants on their caseload to offer advice and guidance where needed.

6. To interview participants to gain information and ascertain their requirements.

7. To motivate, encourage and support participants to move towards employments and tailor a package of support to meet their individual needs.

8. To deliver employability and soft skills including confidence and motivation, CV writing, interview techniques, skill checks, digital skills, and job search.

9. To maintain participant records in line with the company’s standards.

10. To act as an appropriate role model and deliver a range of actions to motivate and empower participants and to facilitate their growth in confidence, raise aspirations and to assist in the realization and achievement of their potential.

11. To assist participants to plan and progress, in line with their action plans, towards improving their life and employment chances.

12. To be responsible for ensuring all Key Performance Indicators are consistently achieved.

13. To meet deadlines and targets as required by the needs of the programme.

14. To accurately maintain relevant IT and administrative systems and produce accurate and timely management information. **Undertake other such duties as requested which are reasonable and appropriate to the role.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months

**Salary**: £15.00 per hour

- Prestatyn, LL19 9DF: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
