**RME Consultants are recruiting for a passionate and enthusiastic Pre-school Room Leader to join a well established Nursery in Chessington**

**Role - Pre-School Room Leader**

**Hours - Monday - Friday. (37.5 - 40 hours per week)**

**Location - Chessington**

**Contract - Permanent, Full time**

**Salary - £25,000 - £27,000 per annum**

**Duties of the Pre-school Room Leader**:

- **You will be working under the direction of the Manager and deputising when required.**:

- **To ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted.**:

- **To work as a team to continuously improve quality of childcare.**:

- **To direct and support staff as agreed by the Manager.**:

- **To support the team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can play, learn and develop.**:

- **To provide a high standard of care to all children in the Nursery**:

- **To provide high standards of care and early learning.**

**Requirements of Pre-School Room Leader**:

- **Early Years Childcare Level 3 qualification or equivalent (please note, health and social care qualifications are not suitable)**:

- **To ensure the provision of high standards of physical, personal, social and emotional care.**:

- **To follow the nursery safeguarding procedure to ensure all children are kept safe, well and secure and ensure all team members are able to do the same.**:

- **Support all team members with the early identification and intervention for children with possible special needs and give physical, emotional, intellectual guidance as appropriate.**
