**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE -**

Ensuring goods are delivered in a first-class condition, completing all necessary paperwork and above all, leaving everyone you meet with a positive impression of you and our business.
- **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- To drive vehicles in a legal and safe manner, while abiding by current legislation.
- To have the correct paperwork and get signatures/ POD’s as required.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, to include the Company Standards of Performance and Health and Safety Policy.
- Report any accidents as soon as possible and in compliance with the company’s accident reporting procedure
- Attend essential training required to carry out your driver role.
- To keep vehicle in a clean and tidy order.
- Will occasionally be required to assist loading and unloading vehicles.
- To be presentable and polite at all times.
- To inform customers in line with agreements regarding collections.
- To contact the office in a timely manner in regard to delays, RTA’s, delivery issues.
- To carry out daily vehicle and trailer checks and report any issues to the transport manager immediately.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £14.04-£18.20 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 56 per week

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Tail Lift Operations: 1 year (preferred)
- Multi-drop driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- DQC (required)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 25/03/2024
