Rosedene Nurseries in Saltburn are offering a fantastic opportunity for an Early Years Apprentice to join their established team.

Rosedene Guisborough have a dedicated and highly qualified team who are passionate about their children and giving them the best possible start in their early years.

Within the Redcar and Cleveland area we have settings in Saltburn, Ormesby and Guisborough. You could be located at any one of our settings within this area.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Successfully completing Early Years Childcare Qualifications with full support and guidance for Rosedene staff
- Supervising children within the nursery environment, including mealtimes, rest periods and nappy changing/toileting
- Creating fun and engaging activities to suit the needs of the children
- Promote good hygiene practices
- Building solid, caring relationships with parents/carers, families, professionals, and your team
- Keeping accurate records and communicating with parents/carers
- Supporting your team members and being a positive role model, who looks to develop and suggest positive changes
- Attend staff meetings or any training courses that will help enhance your personal and professional development
- Monitor and record all accidents
- Adhering to and implement all nursery procedures and policies
- Carrying out general housekeeping duties

**About you**
- You must want to pursue a career in childcare
- Must be a trustworthy, reliable, motivated and committed individual
- Have excellent organisational, communication and time management skills
- Have a positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to excellence to maintain our high standards
- Be able to work as a team
- Have a professional attitude and manner
- Have good standard of written work is required

Please note, starting wage is £5.86 per hour, raising to National Minimum Wage after 1 year.
