**An overview of the role**:
The Warehouse Operative will be working closely with the Service, Consumables and Order Processing Teams along with our wider workforce, to deliver our values which support customer growth, engagement, satisfaction, and retention.

The role will include:

- Monitoring goods in and out safely, and efficiently; moving and handling items; keeping stock records; and maintaining equipment.
- building and assembling franking machines and mechanical components, inspecting the machines, running diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues, and conducting repairs aiming for maximum reliability.
- Liaising with customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
- Planning, coordinating, and monitoring the receipt, order, assembly, and dispatch of goods.
- Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
- Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
- Assist manager to produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene, and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals are stored safely.

**Key Skills & Experience**
- have a good education background, ideally possess five GCSEs at A-C grade including Maths and English Language.
- Be keen and enthusiastic.
- Demonstrate a desire to understand the Company operations and systems.
- Be supportive of colleagues and help when required.
- Possess an understanding of basic internet and networking.
- Be able to work under pressure and maintain accuracy.
- Have a good working knowledge of Excel and Word and CRM Systems

**Benefits Package**:

- Annual gross salary of £23,500, with a probationary period of three months.
