**Stem Engagement Specialist - Leamington Spa - Salary £ 27-30k per annum (can rise up to £36k at senior level) - Permanent**

We have this very exciting opening for our client based in Leamington Spa. This company was founded by a brilliant engineer who created the trust to help young people turn their ideas into reality through science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). This company believes that with the right support, young people can achieve anything. They work with charities, parents, teachers, universities, and corporate partners to make this happen.

Their mission is to inspire and engage young people aged 9 - 18 to become engineers and change the world. They do this by organising STEM events and courses for schools and young people, both in-person and online. They also develop new STEM content.

**What are they looking for?**

**As a STEM Engagement Specialist, what will my day to day duties be?**
- Travelling all over the UK to manage and deliver STEM events for schools (usually 2-3 days per week) and multi-day residential courses for young people (approximately 6-8 events per year).
- Ensure events meet quality standards, meet funder requirements, and collect evaluation data.
- Coordinate with teachers, STEM Ambassadors, and external deliverers.
- Manage event budgets.
- Promote safety for young people in all events.
- Contribute to the development of educational programs and new products.
- Support the wider Operations Team's goals and may work with other teams.
- Represent the Trust in the UK, Europe, and occasionally internationally.

**What skills and experience do I need for this STEM Engagement Specialist role?**
- Vibrant and engaging personality.
- Graduate, preferably with a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Maths degree, OR relevant experience within Industry, Education or delivery of other STEM training
- Passion for developing young people.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent organisational and IT skills (MS Office).
- **Willingness to travel UK-wide and stay away from home on a regular basis - this may be up to 3 days in any given week and can include overnight stays.**:

- Must have a driving license and own car.
- Experience working with young people.
- Experience in educational content development or delivery.

- Competitive salary upto £30k per annum. This will rise when in the role and can go upto £36k for a senior level.

- 35-hour work week from Monday to Friday.
