Builder Maintenance

We are a letting agency operating mainly in the Torbay and surrounding areas. We are looking for a competent person who is multi talented to join our team of full time maintenance staff. Basic plumbing, electrical (like for like replacement), carpentry skills required as an absolute minimum. If you can turn your hand to most things and think on your feet to solve a problem you have never come across before, then you are the right person for us. We will provide the tools required and specialist equipment when needed. The applicant MUST have their own vehicle. Jobs will be varied; you could be on the same site for several days or flitting from place to place all day. Must be prepared to drop everything for an emergency. Occasionally you may be asked to work outside these hours. Hourly/daily rate to be agreed. This is a self employed position.

Main Tasks
- Responding to Tenancy maintenance queries and repair requests
- Agreeing specifications and materials
- Scheduling Planned Maintenance
- Visiting refurbishment projects and provide project management
- Inspecting properties and completing a condition report
- Co-ordinating property maintenance for new Tenancies

And any other ad hoc property maintenance requirements.

The Person

We are looking for someone who enjoys inspecting properties, looking for defects.

You will be excellent at organising your own time to ensure you and the Team complete works in a timely manner.

Be comfortable using technology ie WhatsApp, texting, photos and video

Comfortable working alone or in a team.

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
