Secondary Networks Project Controller

Electricity North West has an exciting opportunity for a talented and collaborative Secondary Networks Project Controller to join our team based in Stockport, producing cost-effective designs for replacement, alternations, innovations, and diversions of the secondary network assets from LV up to 11kV. This is a full-time role that comes with a salary of up to £49,267.04 per annum plus excellent benefits.
As a Secondary Networks Project Controller, you will be responsible for taking a portfolio of projects from conception or initial enquiry through to full project approval and handover to construction colleagues. The role requires you to have the adaptability and flexibility to find solutions to meet business and regulatory needs and changes.
In this Secondary Networks Design Engineer role, you can expect to:
- Develop plant schemes through detailed design
- Liaise with local authorities, highways agency and colleagues in Construction and Repair and Network Partners as required
- Promote safe working practices and compliance with company policies
- Prepare full scheme approval paperwork
- Sound knowledge of planning and design from LV to 11kV
- Experience working with and a good knowledge of electricity distribution networks
