**Cloud Services Director, £90,000 OTE,Remote position**

**Purpose**

As a member of the **Senior Management Team** of two expanding UK businesses, the newly appointed Cloud Services Director for a **leading software company**, will play a pivotal role **creating and delivering** a **strategic plan** to **migrate software products** to Microsoft Azure **cloud infrastructure**. You will be responsible for the launch of Cloud services to customers, followed by the continued maintenance and development of the services.

**Remote working conditions available**, with occasional travel to offices in Poole and client site visits

**Responsibilities**

As the **Cloud Services Director** you'll:

- Develop the cloud-based service offering in line with the strategy plan, meeting performance, delivery, security and cost targets
- Work closely with in house development and infrastructure teams, as well as 3rd party resource to deliver the migration plan
- Define the commercial proposal to deliver continuous growth, whilst controlling delivery costs
- Manage and track the delivery of the cloud service to customers
- Establish, manage and train the support and maintenance teams for Cloud Services

**Background**

The successful **Cloud Services Director**will have:

- A proven track record in the migration of on-premise software to cloud infrastructure.
- A solid understanding of Azure Cloud Services, as well as Linux/Windows, networking and security.
- Senior management experience, with effective managerial skills
- Project management experience, preferably on large scale migrations
- A demonstrable customer focussed and collaborative approach to projects
