We are looking for a new Behaviour and Culture School Improvement Lead (0.2 FTE) for the Greenshaw Learning Trust (GLT).

The School Improvement Lead (SIL) will work one day a week with the Director of Primary Education and Primary School Improvement Team to raise standards in Maths across GLT primaries and will work mainly in the South East (Sutton / Croydon and Bracknell). The SIL will work in partnership with their counterpart in the South West.

Greenshaw Learning Trust is a highly successful multi-academy trust that provides excellent quality, comprehensive, non-selective and inclusive education through primary schools and secondary schools. **Main responsibilities**:

- actively promote the Greenshaw Learning Trust culture of high expectations by supporting senior leadership teams to improve standards across all schools
- support the Directors and Assistant Directors and Senior School Improvement Team to on-board new schools joining the Greenshaw Learning Trust
- to support primary schools in developing excellence in Maths and any related aspects of leadership as agreed with the Director.
- to support primary schools in developing exceptional pastoral care for students that enable them to thrive in their current and next stage of education.
- as an exceptional classroom practitioner, you will demonstrate, and support others to achieve, excellent classroom technique leading to highly effective learning and rapid progress for all.
- develop a culture and ethos network across the Trust to share best practice

You will also support the Director of Education, Assistant Directors and Headteachers to raise standards in behaviour, onboard new schools to the Trust and improve pastoral care.

**You will need**:

- Degree
- Qualified Teacher Status
- Evidence of further relevant professional/leadership development
- recent and successful experience as a leader with demonstrable examples of raised standards and attainment
- Experience of providing effective challenge, resulting in improved outcomes for pupils
- Experience of curriculum development and implementation
- Experience of analysing data and using this to inform practice
- Experience of observing teaching and learning and supporting improved standards on a consistent basis
