**The family of a 13-year-old boy with Severe Autism in the **_**Whitehaven **_**area are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant/Care Worker to support their son 1-1 in the local community.**

**Support will include (but not limited to)**:
**- Supervision whilst playing both inside and outside**

**- Confidence building through visits out without parents to activities**

**- Engaging with outdoor activities away from home.**

**- Promoting Independence**

**Flexible support is required to cover Annual Leave and Additional Hours as and when required on a ‘flexi/zero-hour contract’ basis.**

**It is essential that applicants have prior experience supporting children with autism / SEND.**

**A Full UK driving licence and access to transport is also essential for this role.**

**Further details relating to the role can be discussed at interview stage.**

**Job Type**: Zero hours contract

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Autism / SEND: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence and Access to Vehicle (required)
