Estimator / Surveyor

**About Us**

At FabRefit, we are specialists in manufacturing bespoke and bulk commercial furniture for retail,

hospitality, and leisure venues. We also carry out fitout works and project manage refurbishment

schemes for clients.

Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Estimator / Surveyor to join our team to

work on a broad range of incoming project enquiries.

**The Role**

As the Estimator / Surveyor, you will price incoming tenders, jobs for estimating and quick quotes,

reporting directly to the Director.

You will support the Director with works on new client enquiries and potential workstreams.

Some UK travel will be required from time to time to support projects.
- Assisting the Director in achieving growth of turnover and profits by delivery of business

strategy.
- Assist with growth of our subcontractor network to enable all client requirements to be met.
- Advising customers on project viability and alternatives.
- Producing estimates based on customer information / tender pack with ability to read

drawings, specification and BOQ.
- Maintain accurate records and costings for all tenders.
- Work well under pressure with ability to prioritise workload.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure costing is viable and profitable.
- Preparing valuations for projects alongside contract management team.
- Site visits to take Survey Information and discuss client requirements.
- Identifying and escalating risks and issues to the Director.

**About You**

To be considered for our Estimator role, you will need:

- At least five years’ experience in a similar role
- Be highly driven and self-motivated to maximise achievements and ability to manage

multiple priorities / multi-task.
- Experienced in costing of manufactured joinery, carcassing and fitout / refurbishment works.
- Educated to HNC / HND or equivalent.
- Experience of tendering process for multi-discipline projects across the UK.
- Organised approach to role.
