**About the role**

We are recruiting for full time Multi Trade Operatives to join our Trades team on a permanent basis.

You will ensure properties are repaired and maintained to a high standard and will be responsible for carrying out repairs, improvements, surveys and measurements efficiently and economically in accordance with current working practices and all related health and safety legislation and good practice.

You will work in a professional, respectful and courteous manner and will deliver objectives and achieve behaviour competences.

**Please note that if you are successful in this role, we will require a DBS check to be completed. Further details will be sent following offer.**

**About you**

It is essential that you are qualified to City & Guilds or NVQ2 level in Plumbing or can demonstrate equivalent trade experience.

You will have the ability to undertake a range of planned and responsive maintenance works, repairing, replacing and maintaining properties to a high standard.

Day to day, you will conducted a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including; installation and commissioning of cold and hot water systems, bathroom suite replacement. Also, you should have an understanding of a range of routine and planned domestic maintenance repairs including the following trades: Basic Plumbing, Carpentry, Joinery, Painting/Decorating, Plastering, Wall and Floor Tiling and Roofing.

You must have respect for, and have the ability to communicate with tenants and maintain good relations and be able to work as part of a team, have a flexible attitude to work and be willing to work with and support apprentices.

You must have a Full UK Drivers License to enable you to be successful as you will be travelling to multiple locations weekly - you will be provided with transport. Having the ability to plan, prioritise and manage your own workload to achieve deadlines and be able to effectively use hand-held electronic devices is essential
