**Job Purpose**:
In order to grow, evolve, and connect with new, existing, and potential markets, our growing manufacturing business is looking for a Machine operator and Maintenance Assistant. We need a dynamic individual with a can do attitude to assist in the day to day Machine Operation for a busy food production company. **Sachet/bagging, flow wrap, food machine experience would be an advantage, as well or someone with an understanding of machine setting and laminates.**
Development of new ideas along with the day to day operation of existing machinery, ensuring our current production is smooth running with limited downtime. We are looking for someone with a mechanical background who can demonstrate good skills in problem solving, flexibility within the role with a clear aptitude for different areas. We currently have several fill form machines, various pumping and dosing machines, using electronic pulse and pneumatics. We are looking to expand in these areas with further automation. We are seeking someone who is able to work in a team as well as independently, has a good work ethic and well organised. This is an exciting role with lots of diversity. **PRIMARY DUTIES & AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY**
- Production / machine operating
- Assisting with preventative maintenance scheduling
- Help with new automation processes
- Working within a food environment so previous background in this industry and advantage.
- Lias with other engineers and operators

- Hours are varied to fit in with production and will be Monday to Friday, 6-2 or 8-4 patterns.

37.5 hr week.

Salary / Hourly £12-per hour to start depending on experience, potentially rising to £15 per hour after probationary period and or performance
