**The Role**: FLT Operator

**Location**: Hemswell, DN21 5TU

**Shift Pattern/Working Hours**: 4 on 4 off (12 hour days / 12 hour nights)

**Salary**: £26,275 - £27,960

We are the UK's largest and most technically advanced PET bottle recycling plant, we play a critical role in ensuring we continue provide environmentally friendly packaging solutions to our customers. We are actively seeking for motivated people to join our team as an FLT operative at our large dynamic site in Hemswell.

**Purpose of the role**:
As the shift forklift truck operative you will be responsible for ensuring all logistics activities are conducted in line with site processes to safeguard customer requirements. It is a critical part of the role to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and within the given timeframe to ensure our customer requirements are met in full.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Ensure loads are loaded, tipped and through the weighbridge process at the planned times on the daily slot sheet and goods in schedule
- Complete all documents to the required standards for each process for loading and tipping
- Keep site external standards maintained, putting stock away when required.
- To monitor performance throughout the shift and act quickly if required ensuring targets are met
- Show improvements for any non conformances raised

**What we are looking for**:

- Must be counterbalance forklift truck trained
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure juggling numerous tasks at times
- Flexible
- Attention to detail
- Driver of continuous improvement - Always challenging current practices

**Salary**: £26,275.00-£27,960.00 per year

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Night shift
- Overtime

Supplemental pay types:

- Signing bonus
- Yearly bonus

Licence/Certification:

- FLT License (required)
