Job Title: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)

Location: Ealing, London

Position Type: Mon - Fry (08:30 - 15:30)

**Salary**: Competitive, Weekly Pay every Friday

Our amazing client based in Ealing are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to join them. They are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for our students, and believe that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive academically and socially. There is a high level of training provided so even if you don't have any recognised qualifications the school would love for you to help them and their mission.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the class teacher and other support staff to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
- Provide one-on-one support or small group assistance to students with a variety of learning needs.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social and emotional development of all students.
- Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to assess students' progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
- Assist in the implementation of behavior management strategies and interventions.
- Support students during academic and non-academic activities, ensuring their full participation and engagement.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working as a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant is desirable( but not essential).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational setting.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
