**Senior Mechanical Estimator**:
**City of London | Permanent | £60k - £75k**:

As the Senior Mechanical Estimator, you'll be responsible for producing material take offs and liaising with the supply chain to quantify requirements of each tender, while ensuring that the tenders are prepared to a high standard and meet the client's deadlines.

**The Position**:
As the Senior Mechanical Estimator, you'll be responsible for the preparation of project specific preliminary costs across a variety of sectors and programmes. This role requires you to have a rudimentary design knowledge of pipework and ventilation duct systems along with understanding a variety of installation techniques. You will also be responsible for scrutinizing and verifying specialist supplier and subcontractor quotations for compliancy, alongside value engineering options where applicable. You'll also be required to attend site visits and surveys as necessary.

**Requirements**:

- Time served qualifications in the electrical services construction industry
- Ambitious and enthusiastic attitude towards projects
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team
- Well organized with a high attention to detail
- Analytical skills able to review data
- Able to work to tight and strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with wide range of people
- A full and clean driving licence
- Excellent oral and written English
- To remain calm under pressure
- Able to manage numerous projects concurrently
- Strong Microsoft Excel/Word skills
