Purosearch are delighted to be recruiting for a fantastic Supervisor to work for a small independent Scottish care provider at their highly reputable Care Home located in the Laurencekirk area.

As a Supervisor you will ensure the highest level of care is provided to the elderly residents whilst being a role model to junior members of staff & assisting the nursing & management team whilst on duty. You will help with training of staff members, medication administration & general care duties whilst promoting best practices & ensuring all policies are adhered to.

The Nursing home is located in the Lauencekirk area & is part of a local care company who put residents first. The home caters for the elderly & those living with dementia & has a fantastic management & staff team. It has a great local reputation & would suit somebody looking to further their care career.

The successful applicant will:

- SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or working towards
- A Clean PVG, SSSC registration & a certificate in medication
- Previous supervisory/Management experience
- A team player with excellent communication skills
- A passion for elderly care & experience/qualified in medication mgmt

The purpose of role will be to carry out care duties on the floor as well as ensure quality of care is up to standard on the floor by supervising & managing the care team in shift. This organisation will continue to assist in the development of your career plus support with training.

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Montrose, Angus: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- providing care: 2 years (preferred)
- supervisory: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- NVQ Level 3 Health & Social Care (preferred)
