This Data Engineering position sits within the Data Team, where you'll work alongside 15 other data professionals and work to get data as the core element of the business
**THE ROLE**
**The successful Data Engineer can expect to be involved in...**
- Build a data warehouse that collects, manages, and converts raw data into useable information for BI Developers
- Getting involved in the migration from on-prem to AWS
- Making data accessible to the business so they can use it to evaluate and optimize performance
- Getting data that is compatible with business needs
- Creating algorithms to convert data into actionable, useful information
- Constructing and generating infrastructure to allow big data to access and be analyzed
- Designing, constructing, testing, and maintaining the architecture
- Aligning architecture and business needs
- Developing data set processes
- Finding ways to increase data reliability, efficiency, and quality

**PROJECT EXAMPLES**
- Hackathons for building apps for the business, and putting data into apps
- Integrations with multiple systems
- Setting up ETL pipelines to push data from the Software team to the Data Engineering team
- Integrations with dynamics 365, pushing and pulling data for national account customers

**YOUR EXPERIENCE**
**The successful Data Engineer will have...**
- 2+yrs experience within Data Engineering
- STAR schema
- Data modelling experience
- Experience with stored procedures
- AWS experience
- Exceptional SQL skills
