Bookkeeper (Part Time)

**Job Description**:
Pertemps West Bromwich are currently recruiting for a Part Time Bookkeeper to join our expanding storage company based in Smethwick.
As a Bookkeeper, you will play a pivotal part in processing payments and invoicing as well as assisting other members of the Accounts team.
Duties include (but are not limited to):
- Processing payments, invoices, income, and receipts
- Preparing financial statements showing income and expenditure
- Accurate data entry and creating of invoices onto SAGE and sales receipts
- Daily customer order processing / invoicing
- Using both Excel and internal IT systems
- Enter jobs completed onto the monthly invoice spreadsheet against supplier
- End of month produce a monthly invoice to supplier
- Provide a statement to the supplier with money outstanding
- Chase up outstanding payments once a month
- Issue purchase orders, allocate timesheet, feedback profit or loss
- Assisting other departments when required
- Maintain a clear and well documented filing system and record keeping
- Previous experience within a finance role
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal sales team
- Strong organisational / time management
- Good attention to detail
- Knowledge of SAGE is essential
- Proficient with Excel
- Strong IT skills
- Able to work off own iniatives as well as in a team
Hours of Work:
2-3 days per week
