Netbox Recruitment are excited to be working in partnership with a well-established, family run organisation based in Bexleyheath, to recruit for an Operations Supervisor.

Currently experiencing a period of rapid growth, this brand-new role has been created in order to ensure the smooth running and efficiency of the operations department. You will support the Ops Director in effective management of the Operations Department and delivery of KPIs. Responsibility for the Operations department including warehouse (on-site and 3PL), H & S, utilities & Maintenance, dispatch, stock control and personnel. Responsible for achieving operational excellence so that customers receive a consistent service, to ensure that a strong reputation is maintained in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Warehouse:

- Assess and prioritise order picking, monitoring throughout the day.
- Creating and maintaining a daily schedule with the Warehouse Assistant.
- Manage stock return from 3PL warehouse to ensure sufficient stock availability at on site warehouse.
- Plan and oversee distribution of seasonal campaigns.
- Bi-annual reorganisation of the warehouse for seasonal promotions and new products

Stock Control:

- Management of stock levels
- Review of faulty products, organising return to suppliers and ensuring credits are received
- Liaison with Clearance Agent to organise collection of leftover stock
- Entry of delivery notes onto sage, approving invoices and credits

Budgeting & Reporting:

- Working alongside the Operations manager to overview budgets
- Monthly review meetings with the board

Systems & Personnel:

- Management of all Operations staff 2 x warehouse and 2 x picker packers
- Develop and improve systems to accommodate growth plans
- Investigating customer discrepancies

Key Skills & Experience:

- Proactive with the ability to look ahead to improve efficiency, systems and processes.
- Stock distribution to retail and supplying to Amazon.
- 3PL experience highly desirable.
- Understanding of strategic planning.
- Expertise in developing and initiating continuous improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Experience of or exposure to Sage.

**Salary**: upto £35,000 + Company bonus OTE £37,000 depending on experience
