An opportunity has arisen to join our established HR consultancy team at Quest Business Services Ltd. We are a leading provider of HR, Employment Law, Training and Health and Safety solutions to a wide SME market nationwide. We work in partnership with a wide range of clients and are renowned for our client focused, commercial, pragmatic advice and support.
You will provide a comprehensive range of HR and employment law support and services to SME clients, maintaining utmost confidentiality. You will partner closely with a range of clients in various sectors providing a tailored service to meet their needs. The support and services will be varied and challenging covering a range of HR and employment law matters throughout an employee’s employment cycle. This includes, but not limited to the completion of HR audits, review and draft documents, advice and support on all ER and HR matters. You will establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with the clients. The role involves some national travel and occasional over night stays.
**Duties and responsibilities include**:
- Effectively account manage assigned clients; to ensure compliance and determine their HR operational and strategic needs, delivering services in line with agreed SLA’s;
- To provide ER and HR related advice to retained clients; ensuring the advice offers best practice and commercially practical solutions, whilst explaining the risks and liabilities with associated solutions;
- Participate in the out of hours telephone advice line service offered to clients; working on a rota basis;
- To support the business development team by identifying opportunities for additional services.
**Qualifications and Experience Required**:
- CIPD qualified to Level 7 or working towards Level 7.
- Operational Generalist HR experience at a senior level dealing with ER and HR cases; for example: recruitment and selection, employee relations issues, disciplinary and grievance issues, performance management and absence management; discrimination, redundancy and restructure programmes. TUPE is desirable but not essential.
- Ability to engage and develop relationships remotely and to adapt support at all levels of organisational hierarchy.
- Ability to analyse and interrogate available information from a HR and Employment law perspective to get to the root of the cause, identify risks and provide solutions and the varied options available.
- Ability to influence key decision makers in organisations.
- Excellent communication skills and not be afraid to have that difficult conversation.
- Experience of drafting and advising on HR processes, policies, and procedures and up to date knowledge of Employment law and case law.
- Experience of working to deadlines in a pressurised environment.
- Ability to organise and prioritise own workload and think outside of the box.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team, and on own initiative and autonomously.
- Good IT skills. A working knowledge of Windows (Word, Outlook and Excel).
- Must have a full driving license and use of own vehicle as travel throughout the UK will be required.

**Salary**: Up to £40,000.00 per year
Pay: £36,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
