Inherited Cardiac Conditions

Applications are invited for the post of Inherited Cardiac Conditions (ICC) service co-ordinator based within South Yorkshire Regional Services at the Northern General Hospital at the Sheffield Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust.
Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential as the successful applicant will co-ordinate, proactively manage and track patients, schedule ICC outpatient clinics and patient investigations. They will also be responsible for planning and managing a series of multi-disciplinary meetings on behalf of the CNS’.
STH embraces innovative working and efficient solutions will be embraced. The successful applicant will carry out secretarial and administration duties within the service when required, such as ongoing and updating family care files.
The post-holder will coordinate all aspects of the patient pathway in the ICC service line and be responsible for organising outpatient clinics and synchronising diagnostic tests and reviewing work practices. In addition, the ICC Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring all ICC patients are monitored and tracked, and ensuring information is communicated to the appropriate clinical and administrative staff within the Trust. Where appropriate the post holder will also be responsible for setting up, managing, and ensuring effective running of a variety of MDT meetings.
