We specialise in both engineered timber (soft & hardwood) as well as more traditional solid oak framed buildings. With such a busy order book, we are looking to invest in our future and expand our factory team.
We have a vacancy for a part-time role in the factory in our component clean up area. We would be looking for a minimum of 20 hours a week but can be flexible as to how these are worked.
Experience in woodwork is preferred but training will be given to the right person with relevant experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Control and operation of equipment, hand tools, power tools and machinery as per SOPs;
- Ability to communicate with team members and work on own initiative to ensure the schedule order is met;
- Compliance to all Health and Safety and PPE requirements at all times as per Company Health and Safety Policy and site requirements;
- Visual check of all materials and finished products to ensure they are of the highest quality and are fit for the intended purpose;
- Reading and interpreting Company production data with accuracy and in line with schedule order;
- Preparation of components and/or units; and
- Work from cutting list, checklist, or verbal instruction to ensure delivery timescales are met.
Starting rate of pay from £10.42ph, with the potential for further increases once trained.
