Finance Officer

We are working with a local Cornish client to recruit a Finance Officer into their team on a part time basis.

This is a newly created role working alongside the current Senior Finance Officer to assist with varied duties across the whole of the finance function. There is a real opportunity to make this your own, working with a supportive and community orientatedteam.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assist in preparation of end of year accounts
- Assist in preparation of end of year payroll documentation
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports as required
- Assist in preparation of budget information
- Monitoring of bank accounts and bank reconciliation
- Preparation of VAT submissions
- Reconciliation of Creditor accounts
- Monthly supplier/wages payments via BACS
- Assist with the maintenance of the Asset Register
- AAT qualified or min of 3 years in a similar environment
- Proficient in financial software packages, EXCEL & other Microsoft programmes
- Good Understanding of VAT
- Ability to work as part of a small but growing team
