KURY UK Ltd is part ofan international company, Kury Groupe, **100% dedicated to the nuclear field** with 23 years of experience in nuclear engineering.

Since then, we have been working with EDF (_French Electricity Producer_). We are involved in several nuclear projects, including FA3 EPR (France), the French fleet, Taishan EPR (China), Hinkley Point C and Sizewell C.

We are now looking for engineers to join our Team in the UK. Our human-sized structure (100 employees worldwide) allows us to devote to **mentoring and training our engineers**. **THE ROLE**

As the Contract Engineering Lead you will provide contractual and technical oversight of the contract(s), including the management and coordination of Technical Engineering Leads for each contract and managing the resolution of open-points related to Design, Manufacturing and Qualification. You will be also responsible for keeping the contract at the configuration compliant with the project progress.

In order to achieve your goals, you will work closely with the relevant disciplines but also with the client and the suppliers to ensure the technical requirements are met. Your activities will include:

- Leading the contract and the meetings related to the project.
- Definition of technical requirements and specifications, technical evaluation of supplier proposals.
- Authoring technical specifications and associated technical delivery documents, define the contract delivery requirements, including the coordination of technical specialists.
- Perform the surveillance and approval of contractor deliverables and design activities.
- Coordination of technical specialists to perform review of deliverables and resolution of technical issues.
- Resolution activities for multi-disciplinary technical issues and queries: resolving technical Open Points, interface queries and Design Changes.
- Review and approve contract amendments and exemptions.
- Manage the contract and associated delivery scope, including task prioritisation.
- Resource and budget planning to ensure the requirements of the contract are met to time, cost, schedule and quality.
- Liaise with other responsible design and client teams to ensure integration of equipment with interfacing functions, systems and structures.
- Liaise with RD and client management teams to communicate progress, risks, issues and planning to support contract delivery.
- Reporting of KPIs to the Equipment Manager.
- Ensure qualification activities are progressing accordingly to the contract progress and site needs.
- Help to upskill other members of the team, including other less experienced.

During the first months, you can count on the KURY Team to assist you all along your projects.

This experience will give you the opportunity to move on to other types of equipment or projects in the medium term: you will tackle varied but complementary projects, studies and technical topics. Your understanding of the technical and environmental challenges will allow you to take on complex and critical transversal studies.

**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Understanding of the EPR or general PWR design.
- Technical background on handling, cranes, mechanical equipment, rotating equipment, steelworks, I&C for cranes.
- Knowledge and experienced in Nuclear Mechanical Equipment Design, Manufacture and Operations.
- Experienced in Contract management and documentary surveillance,

change-management, commercial and deliverable management systems.
- Understanding of Equipment interfaces (safety case, systems engineering, CDM).
- IT literate.
- French-speaking would be an advantage.
