Day shift (40hrs/week) - Monday to Friday (inc. Saturdays, when required)

Rotational Day Shift - Week 1: 6am to 3pm / Week 2: 12pm to 9pm

Hourly Rate - £11.34/hr (12% hourly premium for hours worked between 11pm & 6am)

Overtime rate: time and a half for hours worked over 40 per week

Roles & Responsibilities
- Operating various machines within the MRF to include mobile machinery such as forklifts and Loading Shovels.
- Report immediately any issues with Machines to MRF Supervisor / Operations Manager
- Ensure compliance with statutory and company obligations, & Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times
- Ensure all Machines on site comply with the relevant H&S standards and company standard operating procedures.
- Ensuring the facility & its' equipment is kept clean and tidy, with importance placed on housekeeping/cleaning throughout the shift (will include working at height)
- Any other duties as delegated by the MRF Supervisor / Operations Manager.

Essential Criteria
- **Must have a valid licence and experience of operating one of the following machines: Telescopic Forklift, Counterbalance Forklift or Loading shovel**:

- Good organisational skills
- Good communication skills - both written and verbal
- Ability to work well on own initiative
- Be self-motivated
- Ability to work well with others
- Flexible approach to work hours

Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working in the Waste industry
- Competitive Hourly Rate - £11.34/hr (12% hourly premium for hours worked between 11pm & 6am)
- Overtime rate available
