**Job Purpose**

The Stock planner will have ownership for finished goods planning for a defined area of the supply chain, essentially combining responsibilities for MRP execution and production plan creation. You will be a key contributor to the operating strategy to ensure that planning parameters area aligned to deliver key service requirements. The stock planner will ensure the master data elements for bought in finished goods and production planning are appropriately set up.

**Main Responsibilities & Accountabilities**:

- You are required to follow company Health and Safety procedures to ensure the safety of yourself and others.
- You are responsible for efficiently planning production at all applicable plants. Creating an achievable production plan in SAP with two weeks forward visibility.
- You are responsible for purchasing & coordinate the buying of designated bought in finished
- You are required to Investigate and resolve invoice queries as appropriate.
You are required to support the Sales Desk and other business functions on stock availability issues.
- You are responsible for generating up to date availability information on low stocks and out of stock products.
- You are required to review and analyze the daily service reports associated with your designated materials and generate action plans for improvement.
- You are required to support Production and Warehouse in meeting performance criteria.
- You are required to meet planned inventory holdings, minimizing excess and risk of obsolescence whilst maintaining customer service.
- Work with commercial to minimize exposure to excess and obsolete risks by participating in range reviews.
- You are responsible for maintaining master data elements for material availability and production planning.
- Contribute to Knauf’s sustainability strategy of People, Planet, Prosperity.

- **Requirements**:

- Qualifications, skills, ability and/or experience:

- Previous experience in a stock Planning or Merchandising role is essential.
- They will have an understanding of manufacturing and supply chain processes including sales and operations planning.
- The individual demonstrates good Communication skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple departments at all levels.
- They are IT literate, ideally with SAP experience or equivalent.
- They are experienced in delivering a customer focused service with well-developed interpersonal communication and influencing skills.
- This individual is willing to contribute their best, able to remain motivated in a fast paced and diverse environment.
- They are analytically minded with a strong process orientation, a methodical problem solver, with the ability to understand and investigate topics across multiple business areas.
- The individual is able to work under their own initiative or as part of the team.
- They are open to learning and actively identify opportunities for improvement.
