**Responsibilities**:

- Based on production operations and demands to assist Production Manager to create purchasing plans and place orders with suppliers
- Regularly comparing and negotiating prices to source the best purchasing option, and to fulfil procurement requirements including but not limited to raw material, machinery, parts and safety equipment etc.
- Managing production supplies and monitoring the stock level on a regular basis, and ensuring the inventory onsite is consistent with SAP system
- Creating purchase orders in SAP in a timely manner; closing the fulfilled order after checking and verifying both the quantities and the quality
- Tracking the fulfilment status of purchase orders to ensure timely receipts
- Maintaining positive and long-term relationships with suppliers to expand the professional network in the sector
- Summarising the weekly details of raw material received and generating relevant reports upon requests
- Coordinating with Quality Assurance Team to summarise NC report to list out the non-compliant raw materials and report to Manager
- Working with internal teams to prepare documents for importing and exporting to follow legislative requirements
- Assisting in general production office tasks and ad-hoc (including rota)

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm (1hr unpaid break)

**Requirements**:

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Use of SAP (preferred but not essential)
- Exceptional interpersonal skills - excellent writing and verbal skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be able to work flexibly, when necessary
- Strong work ethics, responsible, reliable and positive
- Must be able to work legally in the United Kingdom

Language Requirements:

- Mandarin Chinese (fluent)
- English (fluent)
- Any other languages will be a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
