**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This role will be responsible to the press shop Engineering Lead for a variety of inspection activities including capability studies within the Metrology function at Castle Bromwich.

**WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR**
- Will be responsible to Press Shop Engineering Lead for a variety of inspection activities.
- Work within the Safety parameters to ensure the safety of the individual and colleagues.
- Role will include the measurement and inspection of panels, checking data and materials.
- Expected to escalate concerns to all levels of management & customers in structured & factual way.
- Initiate investigation into non-conformances using dimensional data and ensure fixture conformity to standard.
- Duties include Programming & operation of CMM/GOM machine including use of Metrology first principle measuring techniques.
- Responsible to determine the quality & conformance of parts produced by production and tooling engineering.
- Monitor outputs from DDMS system. Periodic feedback expected at weekly CMM / Gom data analysis meeting.
- Produce reports & charts supporting PIST, Shifted Tolerances and PSW achievement.
- Operation / Use of FLT and Cranes to load the machine essential compliant to audit standards.

**WHAT YOU’LL NEED**
Essential:

- Experience in CMM operation and programming (Camio Software preferable)
- Good written communication and presentation skills, both verbal and documentation.
- Good PC skills and a willingness to take on new technology and methods. Microsoft Excel essential.
- Ability to organise their own activities to support departmental targets and timing.
- Required to work a range of shift patterns to support, Launch, Obsolescence and shift at Castle Bromwich

Desirable:

- Experience in GOM operation and programming (training provided).
- CAD Experience Required (training provided).
- Knowledge of IATF16949 Standards
