Role: Learning Support Assistant

Pay Grade: West Sussex Grade 4 + Crawley Fringe Allowance

Actual Salary: Inc of Fringe is £14,903 - £15,193 (£19,312 - £19,698 FTE)

Hours: Full time - Term time only - 37 hours per week + INSET Monday - Thursday 8:30am to 4:30pm Friday 8:30am-4:00PM

Contract Type: Permanent

The successful applicant will be expected to work flexibly, delivering support either to small groups or on a one-to-one basis, supervising and leading activities, in break times and after school. Applicants should be enthusiastic and dedicated to support students with general or specific learning difficulties and/or medical/care needs.

The successful applicant will work within the Learning Support Team, and be a role model in terms of conduct, dress and professionalism. The ability to treat colleagues and students with respect and in line with our Mission and Vision is essential.

This is an excellent Church of England Voluntary Aided 11-18 mixed Comprehensive School where we pride ourselves in the pastoral care and development of all students.

Applicants should evidence how they meet the requirements of the Job Description and Person Specification and must be willing to undertake all relevant training required to meet the various needs of our students.
