Quality Inspector

**Precision Engineering**:
Do you have experience working to ultra-tight tolerances and working knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102?

Not essential but what about NADCAP as well?

If so, you could be the person we're looking for to come in and take on the responsibility as Quality Inspector (QI) following an internal re-shuffle. Basically the existing QI is in the process of taking over the running of the company and is looking for their replacement.

**Your role in brief**:
It will be your responsibility to ensure stringent quality control measures are followed, and recorded for this precision engineering business.

With a heritage built on solid engineering knowledge, you would be joining a team of highly skilled individuals, who specialise in the manufacture of high-end precision components for fuel aviation, breathing assemblies and aircraft spares.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct detailed inspections to ensure conformity with aerospace standards
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to maintain quality
- Certify work as per airworthiness regulations
- Support facility maintenance and participate in quality audits
- Manage Quality Assurance documentation and schedule quality function tasks

**Requirements**:

- Ideally, working knowledge of Nadcap
- Ideally, minimum 5 years in first article inspection (machining/engineering)
- Proficiency in manufacturing inspection tools and methods
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and quality requirements
- Strong mechanical/engineering knowledge, with AS9100 & AS9102 familiarity
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel within the UK and embrace continuous learning
