**About the Role**
- You will support the Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing to ensure that Hartpury fulfils all of its statutory duties with regard to the safeguarding of children and adults at risk.
- You will work with both internal teams and external agencies.
- You will provide practical support and assistance to staff raising concerns as well as delivering training workshops and awareness raising sessions.
- You will have line management responsibility for some staff in the Wellbeing Centre.
- There is a requirement for this role to share the 24/7 safeguarding phone with the Head of Safeguarding and Wellbeing.

**About You**
- Hold a minimum of a Safeguarding Level 3 qualification.
- Extensive experience of working with young people in an education setting.
- Experience of managing a demanding case load and working with external agencies.
- Passionate about supporting young people to succeed and overcome challenges.
- Ability to maintain positive relationships with students and other adults.
