I am seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join my team at my self storage company.

The role will include overseeing the payment of rent from customers on a monthly basis making sure its paid on time.

Using Xero and our inhouse system to record all payments and compile VAT returns, record expenses and reconcile the bank account.

Once the role has been learnt it can be conducted off site/remotely if preferred.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and performing various accounting tasks.

**Duties**:

- Maintain and update financial records using accounting software
- Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely payment
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Monitor cash flow and manage petty cash
- Conduct periodic audits to ensure accuracy of financial data
- Assist with payroll processing and tax filings

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks, or Xero
- Strong understanding of accounts payable processes
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
